Q. How do I log into the activity portal?
Parents - Please note that you will only be able to log into the activities portal using your child's CPS Google credentials.
Q. Where do I find my child's CPS Google credentials?
A. Parents can access their child's CPS Google credentials from the clerk at your child's school
Q. I don't know my password. What should I do?
A. Parent usernames are the email address they provided the school, entered in lowercase.
Q. I don't know the password for my child's CPS google account. What do I do?
A. When the clerk at your child's school gives you your child's CPS Google information it will come equipped with a temporary password.
Q. I have my child's password but I still can't log in.
A. Parents - Please note that if your child has previously logged into their CPS email account they will have been prompted to update their password. Therefore you will need to speak to them to obtain their updated password.
Q. My child is in 5th grade and I am trying to sign them up for an afterschool activity
A. The Activity portal is only used for upper school students (grades 6 - 12).
Q. How do I approve my child's activity registration?
A. Parents - After your child has signed up for an activity using the activities portal please log into the parental portal https://secure1.cpsd.us/family_portal/.
From the dashboard please click on "Browse Before & Afterschool Activities OR Review Your Child's Registrations". From there click on the "Take a Look" button located underneath the review your child(rens) activity registration(s) to provide participation consent.
