DIAL PLAN: Internal Calls (4) or (7) digit extension.
Front Offices have Centrex lines while classrooms are generally assigned an internal number, for example 7947+”room#”
Voice Mail Internal: 5000 External: (857) 235-5000
Outside Calls 8 + 1 + 10-digit number
Emergency 911 or 8 + 911
Making a Call: Lift the handset, or simply start dialing the number for ‘hands-free” calling.
1. Redial: Press the soft key “Redial” button to redial the last previously dialed number
2. Answering a Call: Lift the handset or press the “Answer” soft key. You can also press the “Ignore” button to let the call go to your voicemail box.
3. Call Transfer: Making an unattended transfer
An unattended transfer is when you transfer an active call without establishing a call with the call-transfer recipient.
a. While on the first call, press the Transfer soft key.
b. Use the keypad to dial the number to which you want to transfer the call.
c. To complete the transfer, press the Complete soft key.
4. Call Transfer: Making an attended transfer
An attended transfer is when you put an active call on hold and establish a second call with the call-transfer recipient before transferring the call.
a. While on the first call, press the Transfer soft key.
b. Use the keypad to dial the number to which you want to transfer the call.
c. Press the Complete soft key after the recipient answers the call. The phone transfers the call to the selected number.
5. Conference calls: Adding a person to an active call
a. During a call, on the Phone screen, press More > Conf. The phone puts the existing call on hold.
b. Dial the phone extension of the third party using the dial pad.
c. When the third participant answers the call, press the Join soft key.
d. To add another person, press "Add" and repeat Steps "b." and "c."
6. Toggling between calls - Use this procedure to toggle between active call appearances.
Ensure that you have more than one active call appearances.
a. Press Swap. The current call goes on hold and the other resumes.
b. Press Swap again to go back to the first call.
Soft Keys… These are the three keys under the display screen that change depending on the features in use.
The labels and actions vary depending on the state that the phone displays.
